FLOORING INSPECTION and FLOORING ADVICE!
Laminate Flooring
Laminate floors have a wood-grain appearance and planks that are the same size and shape as wood floor planks, so they're a convincing substitute for hardwood. On top of that, they can last much longer than even sturdier woods can. Because laminate floors get their designs from photographic images rather than a physical layer of wood, people can choose the look of any wood they want without worrying about durability or price.
Laminate flooring is usually around 3/8 of an inch and can often be placed on top of existing flooring – whether it’s concrete, tile or even hardwood. However, because laminate flooring is made of recycled material as core, it is NOT waterproof.
Product Structure
Features
1. Superior abrasion resistance. The wear layer contains aluminum oxide, which made the surface more durable and anti-scratch than hardwood.
2. Easy to install, clean, maintain and replace.
3. Almost the cheapest flooring in market, that it can be change at any time as you like.
4. When the floors are installed with glue-free, it can be removed or re-used if needed.
QC Point
1. For laminate flooring uses recycled material as core, the density of core material decides its swelling rate.
2. In producing, the layers are glued together that means glue is definitely the critical factors of formaldehyde emission.
3. Backing layer is normally 120g/m2 with 0.2 or 0.3mm thickness, and an insufficient one will made the flooring weak in moisture resistance and stability.
